Shipping + Returns + TERMS
 

  • Ceramics is a slow process. All of the pieces available in the shop are made to order. The time needed to form, dry, and fire each piece depends on the time of year and humidity of my studio, my work cycles, and occasionally the availability of materials and hardware. Please allow a minimum of 3 weeks for receipt of your item. I will contact you if I expect a longer turn-around.

  • Being handmade, each piece carries the unique marks and imperfections of its creation.

  • All parts are sourced from reputable lamp part suppliers. As Canada does not manufacture lamp-making parts, most of the hardware and sockets are sourced from suppliers in the United States. These parts are UL-listed. Sara Wood by Hand lights do not come with a CSA sticker. Sara Wood by Hand is not responsible for any damages, loss, or injury resulting from the installation or use of any of their products.

  • Shipping cost is calculated at check out.

  • We offer a 2-week return policy from the time that you have received your shipment. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in its original package and condition. We also require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please email sara@sarawoodbyhand.com to initiate a return.

  • No sales taxes are added to US or international orders. Canadian sales taxes are added according to each province's specific tax laws.
